tons of fun! I run a leader with para cord and hang them just from that. they work very well, but trees in the Texas hill country our trees are quite thick. they are sturdy enough to last, but thin enough to bend around. you could hang them from whatever you want. the clip of pigeon dissolve over time, but nothing a bit of good ole will not solve. I use these for .22 target practice, and with a 22 caliber shot normally only breaks the bottom half. that is nice
